I haven't really got any calculations as I had no paperwork or figures all I have is what Yorkshire have provided me/offered me1P Challenge #1 £1.71/£667.95

You seem to be plucking a figure from the air and are unhappy because the amount they are offering is less than this figure!.
You should be happy with what they are offering you because your getting your full amount back that you paid plus a good amount of interest on that.
I don't see why your intent on trying to claim that they should have paid out on the policy but didn't and have no evidence at all to back this up. Surely if this happened then you would have made a complaint about it at the time?.0
