Underfloor Heating

We're having new carpets put in throughout the house and our en suite is having new tiles put down.

We're seriously thinking of getting underfloor heating in the bathroom and I have come across this - http://www.underfloorstore.co.uk/product/themoflex-kit-120-kit -

Question is would I be better off doing the bedroom as the bathroom is an en suite? As we're having new carpets I'm tempted to put down underfloor heating in the lounge and 2nd bedroom but just leave the 3rd room with radiators but use something like the Heatmiser neo range to control the lot?

Guys I've spoken to at various places suggest yes whilst carpets are being replaced to save lifting them later.

You do need to ensure the carpet is suitable for laying over underfloor heating.

I have something similar to this under the floor tiles in the bathroom. Not sure that yours is exactly the same but all mine does is take the chill out of the tiles, it is not powerful enough to heat the room. Nice on the toes in the middle of a cold night.

We have our tiled bathrooms done as tiles in the winter are very cold underfoot. We also have a huge heated towel rail in there to get the room as underfloor electric heating on its own is not enough. If you have rads in the bedroom I would leave them and save the money on the bedroom underfloor heating. Just put thick good quality underlay under the carpet.
