PPI claim - Resolver

Put in a PPI claim with the Natwest on 1st April through the Resolver service and never heard anything back until yesterday. Not even an acknowledgment.

The letter yesterday said I was out of the time frame and basically i am not entitled to receive a refund.

How do a proceed with this? Upload letter to resolver and send one last request in threatening Financial ombudsman or court action, or is it better to reply via letter now?

Or is it best to go straight to ombudsman or small claims court.

Thanks

EDIT: Sorry posted in wrong board. Could mods please rectify.

More details needed - when did you have the product, did you cancel it? What is your reason for complaint?

Since they've written to reject your complaint well within the eight weeks they are allowed to consider your concerns, I'm not sure what point you are trying to make here?

You do not "threaten" to go to the Ombudsman. If you feel the Bank have rejected your complaint unfairly then you refer it to the Ombudsman detailing exactly why the Bank are wrong to do this.

Similarly court action, which is not recommended.

You don't mention what complaint you made or why the Bank have rejected you...
