Can anyone who lives in Bristol or who has been there tell me if the town centre is near Bristol Temple Meads train station please. I may be there on Friday and if it is I ll have a look round before getting my train back
Thanks
Sorry I can't help but I would also like to know this if there is a local Bristol expert amongst the elite.
Eldest son is on a long training deployment in the corner of the uk so it would be a good excuse to do some exploring in an unknown corner of the uk - I am also wondering about the closeness of Travelodges/premier inns, Accor and Hiltons but I expect as in most cities these are all expensive hotels
Whenever I am loitering at a train station I make lists of places I could get to via train. This week I found out you can get to Dundee from Brum new street so I've got to do some map studying as to distances between stations and town centres.
Also our trains can get us to Hereford and Worcester and then in another direction Stratford upon Avon
The one I really want to do is the train which goes all the way from Stafford down to Plymouth, and onwards to Cornwall ...
And the train route that goes from Edinburgh through to Inverness ...
Hi Mhoc, there's a Holiday Inn right opposite Temple Meads, although they can be expensive. But as with Emeralds answer, the town center is not far away with plenty of choices.0 -

Queens cool bag & cutlery roll 4 bottles of water instore at M&S for 70p

Pretty pretty please if anyone does this can you take a photo so I know exactly what items to get. I get confused very easily.
Deep sigh we were in a big Marks today in Liverpool and we went to see what sort of meal deals were on offer this week but we couldn't see any ..
We have 2 small Marks simples - I wonder if this would work in these? One opens at 10.30 on Sunday and always has a queue of people waiting to check the yellow labels, as few and pitiful as they are.
But its on a route from Tesco (various ciders to get for COS) to Sada (more cashback items) so getting a few glitchy items in Marks would be great

I wonder if it has simply dried out strangely?
Wracking my brains, can't think if anything else that leaves foam!

Mixed results with uploading the cashback receipts
We had a phone call in the midst of uploading the Momm free porridge pots receipts so as I suspected I had I uploaded a previous receipt so it was declined as a duplicate
OHs carling receipt was rejected this morning as being unreadable and folded, very annoyed as it was nothing of the sort, just one item on the receipt. I tweeted my annoyance to Q
This afternoon I went to reload it but by magic it's now showing as tracked :j - I am wondering if someone just pressed the reject all button last night at the end of their shift and then the day shift today had a 2nd look at the rejected receipts and accepted them
So at least both of our Carlings are showing as tracked now.
Also found the Nutella snack box in a Tesco metro and I've uploaded receipts but it says chocolate on them but fingers crossed shopimum accept them“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
