Get well soon altojack better not hug her that will make it worse.

Oh dear, worse than ever - we sadly seem to have a lot on our sick list and MIA or on both - I think we need a pie diagram ...

    Inappropriate hugs to everyone ailing

Ta muchly - wish I'd seen that before we set off today as I was investigating something in L'occitane but it gives us another reason to go to LIverpool on Saturday - right gad abouts we are being this week.

only seems to allow one entry - tried with a different email on the main computer so I will just have to be happy with my only one

"As many Ms as I can fit in."

Which, sometimes, on days (usually Wednesdays) on which I have a lot else on, is just two Ms, both of which are about two miles away from me:(.

So, as many Ms as I can manage can sometimes be very few.
In that sense, I think every collection day I do fits in "as many as I can". Either I have to get back for teatime or, if I went to another, would then be arriving very late back so I may give that one a miss and not be able to fit it in. Except on the few occasions when I've got technically one or two items (that I could have done with seeing) still outstanding but it's not enough to justify travelling a few miles to visit a further store and end up deciding it's not worth bothering with even though technically I did have time to fit it in. Other than those not as frequent occasions, every price check is, in that sense, "as many as I can fit in". Even if, sometimes, it is very few. And other times I manage a lot more and am sometimes able to get out further afield.

Or even get out a bit and manage 13 in one day:rotfl: (that was the maximum I ever managed - I don't think I'll ever manage that again - it was literally one to another for the entire day and a quick scout around each of them - actually I might have managed even more had I not been left fiddling around trying to find outstanding TBG items from previous days on that '13 stores' day and happening to choose the first few stores that didn't have some of them:( - carried over to the second store and then significant time spent looking there, only not to find, and then carried over to third and time spent again there:( - that would not have happened had I picked a store straight out that had the item in the first place, if the fourth store (:eek:TBG checks three) where I eventually found:T one of the, up until that stage, still outstanding items (some had been found at my third store) had been my first, I would have done the trip quicker - although I could not have visited them in that order due to where I started out). I could have done more than 5 last time - but the "problem" was it was also a main price collection day so that that had to be sorted out, and the price changeovers, rather than being able to manage more stores had it been a Thursday 'new items' check. So, had this not been Wednesday (or Monday) I would have got round more than five I think.

It's the outstanding items carried over from previous stores that lengthen matters. If it was literally picking up new items and not carrying over to check at next stores, it would be a quicker journey and more stores could be fitted in to such an exercise.

It's these frustrations of carries-over though that I think, in a strange way, most of the time I actually like. As well as all the anomalies:( and the throwing up of my hands at the fourth store still not resolving the price that you know I like to do:rotfl:. (Sometimes, at that stage, it's just amusing - and therefore the amusement of the "frustration" provides me some enjoyment:eek::rotfl:.)
