Wrexham's a nightmare - you should see the number of outstanding items I have when I start out at there!:eek::eek: Even more than my usual starting-point store (I won't tell you where that is;)). The second store, this time, didn't really reduce that amount by much. I found a handful of items at that other store that Wrexham didn't have - however the vast majority were still outstanding. This was mainly because, even when Winsford (my second store) "confirmed" the price that Wrexham had, I still didn't trust that price and, where it had a different price, of course the item therefore remained outstanding as I had one store with one price and one with another so needed to check which one of those was correct! Hence why, with so much still outstanding after two stores, I was then so late in the day and didn't end up at my last store until 10pm!

The third store was slightly more help - but still about half outstanding - items it didn't have that Wrexham and Winsford were in conflict over (that I hadn't sought to spend time going through the till to check at one of those stores - though I did have scanned items that I thought I might never see again that day), or else I still wanted further confirmation that the price I was seeing was correct. The fourth store brought it down a bit - but still rather more than I'd like remained outstanding with one hour of the shopping day left to check in only one store now available to me as that closed at 11pm. Fortunately it had some of those items - but a handful were still outstanding, of the ones I really could have done with seeing. In other words, I am not too concerned about the RTC items from months ago that I've long lost track of but suspect, as always, they are going to be somewhere. The handful of outstanding items (of the ones I could have done with seeing) are fortunately all on m.com this time so have been able to be resolved there.

And I came across - at Wrexham in fact - although not concerned about needing to see it - another of the "RTC" items that I had lost track of for a while - the E45 Overnight Repair & Protect Hand Cream (50ml:(:rotfl:) that was RTC a few months ago and then I've lost trace of for about the last three or four weeks - it now turned up again, along with an additional version, but still £3 according to what the SEL says. Fwiw, just says £3 on the shelf at Wrexham and no indication there anymore that it is RTC.

I just kept it on the list with the £3 like I do when I lose trace of things that are still going to be around at unchanged price but with me noting that it seems to have gone from more stores (at least for me) by that stage - in fact, for me, gone from all of them:rotfl::rotfl: - but it's nice to have trace of something once again as an occasional confirmation that it is, indeed, still there. I think I might need to put the additional one I've now found onto the list, that I didn't have before:rotfl:.

Had a nice day - met friend for morning coffee in quaint tea-rooms (very tempting cake displays) then stayed on to meet DD for charity-shop browsing and treated her to lunch.

Lucky girl, she found Wallis and Phase Eight dresses, both a perfect fit. :money:

I'm hoping Rhos is OK and we hear news soon.

I had a visit from my DN today with my DGN Amelie (the one with the hair ..)



They are going to Legoland in Denmark, seems it's really cheap flights, car hire & accommodation she wanted my Kipling cases/bags for cabin luggage
