Indeed not:( - unchanged SELs in most of their stores with any indication of the product it seems. Despite it showing £1 in all of mine. Obviously they have too many stores with £2.34:(.
Still not 10% cheaper:p (at their comparison not you).
I would hope that the Crisp N Dry 2L Veg. Oil - that was a fail earlier - picking up full price M:( might correct itself to the £2 M price. However, I have that at £2 in all my stores too.
And, as for the Fairy Clove Washing Up Liquid (820ml), on RTC at £1, what do people reckon Wrexham had for that yesterday?
(A) No stock and no SEL
(B) Stock and no SEL:(
(C) Stock and correct price of £1:D
(D) £1 RTC label but no stock (alsoas I couldn't buy it even if I wanted to)
(E) Stock and full price SEL.
Can you guess?
I do things slightly different from the APG, as at least I can use 'common sense' sometimes to try to work out real M prices - if I have a SEL with an offer and a future date, I use that price despite having the item in more stores at full price. Clearly it is on offer and not at the unchanged SELs. On different items before, I've had three stores with full price and then had to visit a fourth where, only there, I see the offer (when I know about it from previously). The APG has had no problems on an item like that - they may visit stores and find a majority have the correct price, even I happen to be 'unlucky' and hit three stores with wrong SELs.
It leaves items outstanding for me though - and, if I only visit three stores on one occasion, it could be I'm missing an offer that I haven't seen before. I only know to go to fourth stores looking for it if I have it already on a previous day - in other words trying to track what's already on the list and see that prices haven't changed since last time - if it's a new item, I might not even know that - I could stop at three (or two if I don't have time) and think I've got everything that was outstanding from last time, but, unknown to me, not seen an item on offer because I had all my stores showing full price and the item was only showing the offer at the next store, which I didn't go to. (In fact I think I had that last Wednesday as I found an offer on one item only on msm, as part of an occasional check to see if I'm missing something significant - I always am:rotfl: (and it's probably not on msm) - which I may not have picked up on Wednesday and had to change my stores from my original plan on Monday just gone in order to pick it up - it was showing full price in my usual store:( and I knew it wasn't in any of my other normal ones.) I had the Birds Eye Crispy Batter Fish Fingers yesterday and (pure chance probably) didn't see a store with the correct price at all.
The price collectors for the APG (and those for TBG) won't be able to do things the way I do. A price collector will, most probably, only be in one store, for the day or however long it takes them, will (or should) just take whatever pricing they have there and won't be able to see what other price collectors in other stores have taken (or are taking).0 -

The time has come to make a start on cooking the glitchy gammon joints for the wedding party this weekend - they are so big I need 3 pans to soak them in   I had to cut one of them in half so it looks like it's two in the slow cookers and one doing in the oven :cool:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards.
