    Good afternoon all...

I've not posted for a few days ....but I have read.

firstly congrats to a few lovely people who are celebrating births or good results etc....and if I have missed a birthday or 2 then hope it was all good.

I'm a little grey at the moment so perhaps wont wade in too deep suffice to say I am aware that there is bad blood on the thread at the moment and have deduced that some of the banned posters here have hopped over to another forum and are now meddling there...good luck to them....and the elite now it faces life without them!

I know many posters here double post there too and thats fine by me but what I dont think is particularly fair is the way that the 2 forums look to be heading for a slanging match between themselves......
Post here and post there if thats your choice but surely there really is no need to start trolling posts between the 2 forums to get a reaction.

I am sure even from what I have read online that the banned posters have already perhaps changed their alias and are back posting within the thread....I don't expect that we will see Tanya posting much but it would be nice to see poppypopster as from memory she's been in Florida for quite a while now!!!!
or maybe we are entering the new phase of a further phoenix rising or an oopmpa Lumpa...who knows...

Whatever happens I'd like to see the elite rise above the baiting and if that means that it time for some other prolific posters to also move elsewhere then maybe its time for a change.....
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Thanks marmite...I do indeed have some wonderful friends on the thread who I cherish and who have been the most amazing bunch of supporters ...we've been through some very dark times together.
I happen to think that the elite is a great thread and not just for the shopping....long may it continue!
Got to echo the fact that I am missing some of the regular posters at the moment but I do know that sometimes real life does get in the way of our community so its not always possible to post and doubly difficult when we have a spell of nice weather to be out enjoying...but they are still in my thoughts also.

Morning, I find it shocking that the banned mse poster has made public northerngeezers health issues on hukd, or is it just me?

    Hi..

Thanks for your concern about privacy. But I don't really mind as I'm also in a few health forums regarding my cancer.

I suppose on the positive side I might get an extra blessing or two from the readers. :)
