Old carpet would be fine as an underlay. For the trouble of finding and trying to repair the hole you may be better off getting a new liner.

What size is the pond ?

    7x10x3ft deep

I'm looking at pondliner.co.uk for 4x3m flexiliner atm.

I've had an email from mysupermarket this morning which says 4 packs of Radlers are now £2.50 (also same price in Sada if you are doing a !!!!!! v sada shop)
It's still on COS until the 14th and you can claim 6 times £1 cashback so £1.50 for 4 bottles is not too shabby and if you are one of the fortunate few that sainsbobs loves enough to give a conditional spend to use even better :)

Also some people have got bonus nectar points for doing 4 or 8 shops so if you put them through the SS tills one at a time then that's another job done.

And then with separate receipts you then get an entry each time into the Amazon draw

    Pretty decent prices on there.

Make sure you put some sort of underlay down first.

I know I could have a bit if a sort out of photos - things like receipt photos need to go but I don't think it would help very much. I've got 5 years of photos to which I am very emotionally attached, they start from when I first got this iPad and I was taking loads of photos to show my dad especially when he went into care - I took photos of everything the kids, cats, garden, meals, places we went etc to keep him connected with the outside world etc
And then there is the cruise photos and places we have been to.
And the garden photos which help with the yearly planning
    And the inevitable cat photos

I am really very loathe to have to buy cloud storage space but it looks inevitable ...

Hi mhoc, I know that five years worth may be a bit much to do but every now and again I empty my iPad pics by emailing them to myself then on the laptop I store them on an external drive, I have to as my dd is one of those that takes a zillion selfies:rotfl:
