RTCs are in the smaller format C00ps as I just found :D.

... why I bought sugar, when I have shed loads in the stash already from the Cashback free offer, is beyond me :o.

In a similar situation here, critically low stocks of apples and pears - I eat these as a hunger stifler before I start on anything more calorific. It's an absolute mind field every time you go out, always checking the size, price, variety and qualities of apples.

I also like the crisp hard ones like Braeburn or Granny Smiths and hate things like gala or golden delicious or so called fun sized apples.

Looking at mysupermarket the best price for apples seems to be 20p but that does not take into account the actual weight.
Morrisons might have some suitable ones this week - at least in Morrisons you can weigh the bags of apples and make sure you are getting the biggest bag. I've wondered about taking my little electronic scales with me into Aldi :D

Sainsbobs seem to have 4 value apples for 80p - mine you I don't trust mysupermarket

I bought 6 smallish red apples for 80p from Tesco today . I can only eat red apples at the moment apparently lol
