I suppose its the raid you want to know about...

my OH had a dalliance with his sort of secretary many, many moons ago and before it started I warned him of her intentions, but like most men he was led by other parts that even carling couldn't reach !
When it was finished she got very angry and bitter and told the police he had threatened her with a gun.
He wasn't even home when the seven armed police cars and helilcopter arrived but of course I was and so were the whole of the neighbourhood children as it was school holidays.
It was bullet proof shields, massive guns- the whole shebang.
They took the kids and put them in the armed vehicles (for safety, they said) and did the old kick the doors open with guns and shields trick.
My phone was ringing and ringing as it was OH wanting a lift and getting very annoyed that I didn't answer.
They went to where he was and picked him up all heavy handed, but he was released very quickly.
Unfortunately as it had cost them so much money and she had signed a statement it had to go to court- and we had a duty solicitor as we didn't think it would even get that far.
They didnt turn up so we were left high and dry with no idea what to do and before long we found ourselves being summonded to crown court.
By this time the lady had retracted her statement but we had to fork our for a barrister, who advised to get a not guilty so that it couldn't be resurrected again- and that is what happened.
Due to the way it happened I shook for at least a month and was aftraid to go out as it was so horrible.
I asked for counselling but was never given any........fortunately I managed to take a very large breath and get on with my life.

Bought a house whilst still in their teens x

I did this, I was nineteen when I got my first mortgage.
I don't think it was that unusual in the good old days..or was it ?

can you add me to January, I am admitting nothing

This is a lot more common thna you think.
Its all about fertility and things like that. Some families all have birthdays in the same month- the girl down the road had six or her seven in november !!

I love the Giants too. At first I was doubtful and thought they might be a bit daft but their personalities soon shine through, don't they?

I didn't go to see them but I got the live updates on PC and I was soon addicted.:)

i was doubtful when they came the first time but had to see them when they came the next.apart from the total chaos at lime st station it was a fantastic day, everyone was in a good mood and the puppets were just magical, they are well worth seeing in the flesh.:)
