Ohhhhhhhh is that Ls'S ? as she is going on Disney cruise

It says on the cruise calendar that Disney Magic is in Transit, so I think it is a port call on a cruise that's already embarked from elsewhere.

The ones that people debark and embark on are the ones marked Turnaround, I think.

    Hello:wave:
Have been thinking of you, glad you are ok x
Breakfast at the zoo!! Never heard of that before:o
I would check about the flowers, when do you actually go?

Sunday. Can't wait! :) Will try and check about flowers.
All this cheap wine, well done - almost makes me wish I was a wine-drinker. :)

Caribbean Princess is back in L/pool, looking very majestic. And Disney Magic is due in on Friday. One day I will go on a cruise. :D

The Disney Magic is a beautiful ship, well worth a visit if you are nearby. I am getting on her on Sunday at Dover. The stop at Liverpool is one of the final stops of the East Bound transatlantic cruise which set on the 14th. Apparently the sea has been rough! :o

I'm doing well. I've managed to find this from a single store out of technically five in total (although I didn't check everywhere in every store) that had a SEL but no stock:

    John Smith's Golden Ale (500ml)

Sadly, it's £1 in A, but clearly it's available in M and as is indicated by m.com and msm (of which I was unaware and would not have known). I bet it's in stock in every M other than the five I visited:rotfl:.

The fifth one was an attempt to resolve a couple of items I had from previous stores with increased price in three of them but then I would have liked a fourth to 'show' (or rather merely indicate) the items had really gone up - unfortunately it still had the old SELs on and they have no expiry date stated on them. I went to the fifth store therefore - and managed to pick a store that had no trace of them at all:rotfl:. However, all is "well" as m.com does show me that the prices have increased:(.

On this occasion, sometimes I am picking the majority price I see but on other occasions, with more stores telling me one thing, I'm picking the minority price as that is the correct one:rotfl:. For example, if I have three stores at full price but then I am seeing one that has an offer price on and an expiry date that is in the future, then 'clearly' the product is on offer despite the full price showing in more stores for me. But, where I have a price change showing for me in several stores but a single store that has left up a SEL that says "Valid until 22/5", then it's more likely the majority view, on that occasion, is the correct one.

There are no correct or incorrect prices for M on the M list. The prices for M stated on there merely reflect my opinion about what the prices might be:rotfl:. That opinion as to the prices may change if I get more information, which may be the same or may be different, for example I may see a different opinion as to the price presented to me in a different store at some point in the future. It's therefore all a matter of opinion and not fact:rotfl::rotfl:.

I have had a single store in the past be IMO correct as to the price of an item (although that based on my scanning the item at the SS in that store and getting an opinion, assertion or allegation presented to me on the screen as to the price I might be expected to pay:rotfl:) even after several, more numerous stores had all showed a different price on the shelf on the same day. I think I may have been wrong as to the price of the Bernard Matthews frozen Turkey Roast last week and removed it from my list possibly when I should not. Every store I saw last time had £2.50 new price. However, the item is clearly (still?) £1.97 from a store I saw yesterday. I put a question mark about "still" as it's possible the item could have gone up for a week then back down again. I just don't know:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

    Ah, it's all good fun!:D

Lovely, I will look out for it.

I've become a bit of a cruise-ship spotter ever since the 3 Queens came to L/pool. They were an impressive sight. But I have only found the calendar this year, which enables me now to put a name to the other visitors.

And of course the fireworks which you get in the evenings sometime to entertain some of the ships, are always spectacular. My flat has river views, so there's no effort involved and I get a free show.

Have a lovely time. I'm sure your friend will seem nearby. x

It doesn't necessarily mean that items I have "problems" with (establishing their prices) will be a risk for the APG as the prices may all be clear in the set of stores they use. Or they may get an incorrect low price in all of them:rotfl:.

In fact, overall, this time was rather better than it usually is (apart from the freezer area where M has been moving items around and has full price on offer items in several stores - with random, different items showing the offer price in different stores). The prices, in general, from my Ms, this time, were clearer than they normally are and I didn't throw my hands up in the air like I normally do. Except at the fourth store where I was doing a bit of that:rotfl:. Offer is still on according to there, although off in every other previous store - what am I do?:D:rotfl: (I was alright prior to then:rotfl::rotfl:. I knew the price, until the fourth store then sowed doubt back in:rotfl:.)

Thank you. She was hoping to get to Liverpool to see the Disney Magic, as they aren't too far away in Manchester. Obviously it wasn't to be though. I definitely feel like she is going to be with me on this trip though, its a nice feeling. :)

Bit random, but sitting on the confectionery shelf by the tills in my ex Netto was a little pile of Savlon plasters, 13p a box. I took what they have as new sandals and bare feet usually mean a blister or two :o

ILTS, I am sure your nan would be proud of you.

You have been put in a position of having to do something you have not had to do before under stressful circumstances. I am sure she would be pleased with anything you come up with xx
