I'm sorry, I really have not kept up on here properly at all. For those that asked I am fine, thank you. Had a lovely day at the zoo yesterday and breakfast with the big cats (no frosties dm!). Was a very good distraction from things. Today I've been to aqua aerobics then out for lunch, and its back to work tomorrow.

    Happy birthday Hillbern.

My friend's husband let me know she is being cremated a week on Wednesday (they aren't having a funeral as per her wishes) so I will be thinking of her whilst on my cruise. Am also going to take some flowers onboard (am assuming they will be allowed??) and do a bit of symbolic flower throwing over the side when we're out at sea.

All this cheap wine, well done - almost makes me wish I was a wine-drinker. :)

Caribbean Princess is back in L/pool, looking very majestic. And Disney Magic is due in on Friday. One day I will go on a cruise. :D

    A v M from 22.58 yesterday

I don't know if morries prices have updated yet but I know savvy likes his chicken dippers

I think that is a glitch. They are not £2 in M - they were £3 (now £3.92:eek:) so I've been ignoring them:(. Maybe they picked up the 541g Chicken Nuggets price instead:think:. As you suggest, the comparison might not be ongoing now. However, I've been getting 48 (2x24 pack) at £1.64 elsewhere, so it's all good.

Those Drumstick Squashies are N/A:(. I'm not happy about a number of items I'm seeing with 'N/A' but in this case the Squashes in M are 160g and have also risen in price.

    1x Cornetto 5 Strawberry Ice Cream Cone (5X90ML) £1.50 N/A

If this is available in M at £1, although neither me nor the price collectors have been able to find an M with it, and I've no evidence that M still has it, then I've lost 60p on this (and these amounts can add up), as well as even more by their hopeless buying a non-comparable ice cream on the mbuy However, :(it was hopeless anyway on this receipt as they bought useless Cadbury Twinpots:mad:.

    1x Cadbury Twinpot Dairy Milk Buttons (90G) £0.50 £0.75:(
    1x Cadbury Twinpot Dairy Milk Flake (90G) £0.50 £0.75:mad:

But they also included this one:
    1x Cadbury Twinpot Dairy Milk Chunks (90G) £0.50 N/A

which was RTC 50p in M a few weeks ago (at least that is what the label I saw said, even though I never encountered any stock) and, if it is still available in some M now, even though, if so, I've not found it, then it also isn't comparing.

The fact that I cannot find an item in any of 90 separate Ms I visit does not mean that M does not have the item somewhere else. So, products could still be in M and available to purchase at M's prices somewhere even if I have not found them and even if I have never seen them at all.

    I'm not convinced about this:
    1x ASDA Popping Chicken (200G) £1.00 N/A

But then it takes a lot to convince me of anything ever! Maybe M does not have an equivalent.

On the Twinpot Chunks, I was not wrong to put it onto my list. I had already changed this to doubting it would work, as I already felt it was now too late to be in many Ms (if available in any at all), so I was right. I think it may have been better to have bought at 75p for a very brief period two weeks ago. Yet items can appear on the RTC price in some M several weeks after they were first in, and vanished from, some other M that had them on RTC before. So, even though I have no Twinpot Chunks anywhere now, and neither does the APG, this does not mean that they could not, for the first time, have appeared on 50p RTC in some M only this week. Or indeed, could appear like that, all of a sudden, in an APG store on the next occasion but didn't on the current collection. Maybe this is clutching at straws and seems a most unlikely viewpoint:rotfl:. However, it certains seems quite possible to me that it could happen (even if extremely unlikely to do so). I have had a lot of my assumptions that I previously had about M challenged by what I've found over experience in the last several months and clearly can't hold onto those assumptions as being true now when it seems to me they are very likely not true. But, overall, the general items on the APG do compare as they should.
