Very quiet around here at home, dh out at friends for a couple of hours, ds4 gone out, he said he won't be long but I say, how long is a piece of string :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sat outside off and on today as the weather has been gorgeous, not too hot which suits me just now.

Watching BGT now, seems every night this week is taken up by it though. I miss the dramas etc but I guess it's just for this week so I'll get over it, I'm a big BGT fan but still moan :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Louise went abroad to get married didn't she. Is she back yet does anyone know please? I may have missed her :o as I've been skipping now and again
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Mine too, but I just tell them to keep the overpriced stuff and I'll buy in store where it is cheaper.
The more people who do this, maybe they'll listen and change their policy. Asda are the only supermarket to do this afaIk.

    It's only a game

No rain here, went a bit dark but that's it.

    Happy holidays qoc :)

LS sending you my love X

I don't want to bring the thread down and I know some might say it's personal choice but nan wasn't really into music so didn't have any favourite songs and I'm looking for a song to play and thought you might be able to give me some ideas

    Someone suggested we'll meet again

It's very upsetting listening to music, I came across this and loved the words

    http://youtu.be/pBg9btpGqKU

That's lovely. If you need something else you can't go wrong with Eva Cassidy. Somewhere over the rainbow is so classic but she has other equally good recordings.
For her paternal grandads funeral my dd chose Wind beneath my wings and her nan chose a Michael buble (sp). Do you know my mind has gone blank on dad's choices but I remember we couldn't fit in Canada ladies choir version of Fix you.
    So stupid I can't remember.
It is important you are happy with your choice of music and readings.
I am embarrassed we haven't ordered dad's stone yet but going to do it together next month. Just something we haven't been able to do but wish we had done as soon as we found his plot.

ILTS NO subject is taboo on here. If you want to advice on anything ask away.

I hope I have helped. If you need a reading then Remember by Christina Rossetti is beautiful and there is a recording of Dame Judy Dench on YouTube which can be played if you don't want to read.
I can get lost in poetry but rarely remember who wrote what. I have been looking for something for dad's entry into the rememberance book.

Nightmare day with bath. Insurance refuse to pay as assessor said definitely transit or installation damage. Waiting for his written report to show to builders who are slightly more interested when I said I was going to NHBC.
Officially I am not allowed to use it and any water damage will not be paid for by insurance but as they didn't check floor I don't see how they know what damage has been done. Unofficially I was told to put tape over it.

My stresses are small in the grand scheme of things and I refuse to sweat the small stuff.
pamper afternoon with N tomorrow getting ready for wedding and I think one of us wants a bra fitting and the other needs an expensive beauty counter as she wants to learn and buy the stuff to play with this contouring rage.

on the subject of these perfect fit blinds d they hang loose at bottom or can you fit?
Also when attaching to the window bead do they in anyway grip into the existing gasket of window? Not sure I want to damage my gasket (even though boys are in trade and can replace). Mum very interested but has tilt and turn windows so needs fitted at bottom really or she could only open window with blind up. Not sure that would matter though.

off to read back but couldn't pass ILTSs post without commenting.
