Does anyone donate old pens, pencils. rubbers, rulers etc to charity? Been sorting out some drawers and cupboards and have loads - seems a shame to bin it.
Drawers are soooo nice and tidy now - I keep opening them just to stand and gaze!!!!!!!!!
when I had a sort out the best stationary stuff, the newest went into the Christmas shoe boxes.
The rest I put into a shoe box and I listed these on Freecycle and I asked for them to be collected by someone who ran a nursery, playgroup etc
I always put masses of pens and pencils and crayons and various sorts of paper into the Christmas shoe boxes“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Cant believe we have been back from hols an entire week already
this last week seems to have consisted of sorting out a series of knotty problems mostly involving compromises but at least we have got through it all
For instance eventually at the nth hour I made a decision about the Boden £10 voucher and I went for an essential white t -shirt - it needed another £4.50 from my paypal - quite happy with this, it will get a lot of usage, it feels like a bit of a cop out as it wont look obviously Boden but better to have something I would actually use :T.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. significant weekend for us here.
Eldest son has been stationed very close to us, only about an hour away, since January 2015 since he came back from Cyprus. We thought it was going to be problematical as we had only just used to having our own space (after the youngest left) and eldest son had been out of the country for 3 years so it was going to take some adjustment having him local to us.
but we need not have worried, he settled very nicely and he got a fabulous girlfriend and everything has been sweetness and light.
but now he is on a course and stationed down south for 7 months and he goes down tomorrow. Usually they are confined to base for the first few weeks but after that he will be back to see the girlfriend at weekends - its about 4 hours away so too far to be regular. we might even get to see them occasionally.
At the mo we only see him on odd weekends but even so we are going to miss him dreadfully as he has turned into quite a nice young man
this weekend GFs mother and step-dad have flown in, they have not been over for quite a while and also GFs 15 year old sister so they are entertaining them this weekend.
They are all off to Chester this afternoon, driving over, about an hour from GFs place to Chester.
we are going in on the train a bit later and meeting them for coffee and cake :j
- yes its a meet the potential a long time in the future in laws afternoon“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Morning all.
A question please. Could someone tell me what sort of things this magnesium oil is good for, as I know someone who it could be good for, obviously depending on what it is for. Many thanks.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Morning all,
For people with a waitrose card, if you add lurpack 500g tubs to my picks they work out to £2.70 for 2 tubs. I know this isn't mega cheap but was happy with my self finding this as I'm new to waitrose card.
P.s sorry if this has already been mentioned0
