    Hugs x

I get what you mean about a good visit. Take enormous comfort from today as it sounds like it was exactly like both of you needed it to be.
Has your friend been transferred to the hospice yet?
Glad the drive was good. That was incredibly quick.

    V x

Not yet VT, they are waiting for a bed, seems there aren't any available so who knows whether she will make it to one or not.

I'm hoping my drive to Dover a week on Sunday is as trouble free! There are right wing demonstrations on the Saturday and Sunday, marching from the train station to the port, but hopefully I'll be early enough to miss them.

Thank you snap. :A I've just come back to edit this post to say I'm really not amazing at all, I'm just trying to be a good friend to someone who has been an incredible friend to me. I'm sure everyone on here would do the same. I do appreciate the sentiment though snap, thank you.

gocat, am so glad to hear about your positive post, sounds like very good news.

    Wet afternoon in paradise

I've had a look at Sainsburys mycoupons this morning and there is not a single item that we use or buy on either account.
Also had a look at nectar.com and again totally underwhelming

The till spits mostly I've been getting triple pointers which as my spends now are less than a fiver are not really worth bothering with. I did though get one for £1.50 just for being me on Sunday so today I found some reduced chops today for £1.65 so I used that as part payment (don't grin, out local stores never do real and proper reductions) so OH got his pork chops for 15p which is as good as it's ever going to get with our sainsbobs.

I now have a new till spit to play with 100 points for buying any birds eye fish fingers. I know its only worth 50p in real money but eventually a homebase, Nero, pizza express etc offer will come along and then I can supersize my nectar points total :)
And I like fish fingers so at least its something we use.

So looking at mysupermarket the choice will be either
1 12 pack of fingers with omega 3 336g which are £1.50 but in Morrisons they are £1 so already they are 50p overpriced and it wipes out the value of the nectar points.
    2 8'pack of crispy batter 224g - £1.20 but £1 in Morrison's - so a better price difference but a smaller pack
    3 meals or 2 meals

Where is savvy buyer when you need a complicated decision to be made :rotfl:
