Can I ask for a little help?
I have an friend whose son has had his nursery time reduced to an hour a day The son has been diagnosed with autism which causes the problems highlight by the nursery
Is there any way my friend can challenge this
Friend will not claim benefits. I looked on disability forum but it was mostly about money so did not ask there but will look into it again
Thanks
How old is the son?
Is it a state nursery or private?
If it is a state nursery and the child is entitled to a free place due to age then I would have thought that the school need to make provision. It may involve the child being statemented to get the extra support he needs. If the nursery can't fund the extra support, they may decide that they can't safely take him until the provision is met. Once he gets to compulsory school age, the school would have a duty to take him and provide support according to the statement.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Thanks marmite, it is slowly getting there, just want rest of the house back to normal now, what ever normal is for an Elite OCD stasher.
Not found room to store the surplus tiles for the front and back porches yet, don't think will manage that until we bring the fridge back in and stop using the garage to cook in with the camping gaz cooker.
More progress in other areas does that mean you have toilet doors now?

Yes I believe so. I'm not familiar with privately run nursery places, but you can challenge local authority run nursery funding decisions. It also depends on the circumstances that caused the reduced hrs.0 -

TS I do not really know..It was the first time I bought carpets for about 14 years...All I know is that I priced around and got really what I wanted...It is difficult to price as most carpet outlets have different names for the same carpets..I think they do this purposely so you cannot compare to easily.....I chose a small independant rather than a big outlet......I did not want long pile as if you do it flattens..Roughly 10mm pile is what I went for...I know its soft at first but if you get a good underlay..In my case I used Cloud9 10mm thick and a good quality carpet...You cannot go far wrong..I chose a synthetic carpet as I noticed that the carpets that were in the property when I moved in had quite a bit of moth damage...Moths love wool so it was a no no for me....I paid just below £20 a sq yard.....that included fitting..I fitted my own grippers and underlay...I hope this helps you decide...When I looked there were litterly hundreds of different patterns and colours...I wanted just a plain carpet with no busy patterns..
Thank you too for the birthday greetings..:D[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]

marmitelovemehateme wrote: »What bi-fold doors did you get TS...I want some with glass..but not sure if I can get any..
Not sure if this company came up on google as it was local to me but this is where I got my bi-fold door from (not glass though as for old larder). The oak veneer Mexicana one. I needed an insulated door to match for Mr TS's cold room/larder so a fire door in this range was the best I could do after researching. I did look at solid oak elsewhere but as we had already gone over budget with the electrics and floor.
