Quite pleased with ourselves today, found some door handles in Travis Perkins, they were in the wrong place on the shelf but we thought we would try, started off at something over £50 when he rang them up, a quick groan and mention of the SEL and they were down to £31, 6 pairs of solid brass door handles complete with latches and hinges and a privacy handle to match, not badWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Don't worry, I ignore anything media-wise at work and when I get home and watch it virtually straight away. Much better when you don't know the result beforehand:D

Hope everyone is well.
I'm so excited my new kitchen is being delivered tomorrow:j it's taken along time to save for.
Hope it worth it when it's done.
I've been trying to write a meal planner as I will probably only have access to the hob for a couple of days and no work surface-prep area then it will be microwave only  that and the mess fill me with dred!!
So far I've got 2 lists, first for hob only, 2 nd for when I've no cooking facilities...
Tuna Pasta
Chicken stir fry and noodles
Soup if it's cold...
Beans on toast
Cheese toasty and salad
Picnic- sandwiches, sausage rolls, salad etc
Anybody got any fab ideas? Please and thankyou My brains on shut down today...0 -

Hi
For the hob - casserole, omelette, pancakes.
Microwave - Jacket pots, Microwave rice.
Shame you don't have an air fryer xxCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

I'd make a big stew/casserole while it's still possible, reheat on hob. Also spag bol whilst hob is available.
Jacket potatoes... The frozen ones are ok, just microwave from frozen.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0
