Good morning all, the garden is getting nicely watered today :D

I could do with a decent recipe or two for rhubarb too, before the weekend it was only just up, now it looks like it will be big enough to use at the weekend:eek:

So pleased for you :D Just shows every cloud has a silver lining, sometimes you have to put up with the rain to find that lining.

Don't think I'll be going far this morning. I seem to have picked up some sort of lurgy/bug so I might be heading back to bed :( my own fault for accepting hugs at the weekend :o curse whoever deposited it on me :rotfl:

I have been meaning to say, and keep forgetting :oEllie14......DS2 thoroughly enjoyed the choc muffins you made for him. I made him share, much to his dismay :rotfl: and they were a resounding success. So thank you and sorry for leaving it so late to say.

    Good morning all...

    Happy birthday Emerald....hope it's a fab one x

Qoc....miami is too far for a day trip you'll spend all day in the car....st petes is quite nice and a wonderful bridge to cross just before you get there...or a little closer the other way is Daytona.

Going to throw in a random if you like pancakes...the sugar mill at de leon springs national park....hot plates on the table let you create and cook your own and all in quite a nice park setting with a couple of walks and a boat trip available too ....

space centre is always on our list to visit but also up in the area are some lovely seafood places so we usually have a day out up that way.

....and one place really off the beaten track and about 45 mins from disney is winter haven...and andy's igloo diner...quite possibly the best ice cream ever
....winter park is rather nice for a look how the other half live about 20 mins outside of orlando...sun rail have a very good train service up to there thats really cheap or its a very easy drive just up from the mall at milenia....on a sunday there is also a lovely market similar to a farmers market but florida style.

VT...I have some forget me nots planted exactly as you you describe along with some bluebells at the bottom of my garden x
...and you said exactly the same as my sister regarding DS...yep better now than when he's at uni....

Weather not too good today and I have an awkward day doing something I would rather not...so the weather matches my mood I guess

    Have a good day all...
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Do we still have to get the peanut muller or can we just get any 12 now so long as they are in the 6 for £3 offer please? Thanks.

    savvy_sal wrote: »
No.It's now 11+1 or 12 of same flavour as per Chrisv post

    thick_tom wrote: »
    incorrecto ;)

this is my shop from yesterday. i got a peanut and caramel muller light but it didn't show.

    savvy_sal wrote: »
My answer was correct to your question.

The peanut one is now an invisible trigger.

You got the maximum you could get on the mullers.

sorry but your advice was clearly incorrecto ;) you said i had to buy 11 or 12 of the same and that the peanut is invisible. take a look at lango and tm's shops below. all 12 show including peanut :)

    Happy birthday emerald.

Fc sorry you've picked up a bug, hope it doesn't knock you up too much.

Di, your painting sounds great, love the sound of the purple cabinets. :)

Feeling a bit sad today as my poorly friend isn't doing so well. She has just been discharged from hospital after her second stay in 3 weeks, the cancer that has spread to her lungs has all of a sudden started giving her quite serious problems after being symptom free in the 16 months since diagnosis. Have always known it was terminal, but reality is starting to hit home now. :(
