Keeping a garage warm in winter

We have the washer, dryer and freezer in an attached double garage on the house side wall. Ceiling is boarded and insulated walls just single brick and boarded no additional insulation.
An LG washer developed some display faults after about 12years still worked fine, no idea if it was due to the cold winters, it had also destroyed the door seal(design fault with door catch) so went out. anyway.
Our new heatpump condenser has worked over the winter and it does get quite cold in the garage
The thing to watch is the drainage and where you run the waste pipe for the washer/dryer(if condensing).
Ours runs outside to a drain and one year(in 20) it froze outside during an extended cold spell and we missed it so the next wash did cause some minor flooding.
Also if you run the waste outside the normal internal waste pipes are not suitable they will deteriorate takes about 20years.
Best to avoid condensation by keeping the garage dry, vented dryer or a condenser with A rated condensing(many still chuck loads of moisture into the room).
edit: I keep my beer and bottled water in the garage and it has never frozen so temp has never got below freezing for an extended period.
If you think it is getting too cold, open the door to the house if you have one and let some of your warm air through0
