I know this has been raised before - but surely, it's not difficult and not unreasonable to limit a new user to, say, 3 new threads per day ? This would go some way to alleviating this type of mass spam attack, without penalising genuine new people who are asking for help - let them start a new thread, no limits on replies or further posts within that thread, but there's no reason for them to be starting dozens of new threads per day.0 -
