    Yes, they appear completely separately from your normal balance. To pay any off you have to actively go and deliberately pay it off that item.

    Well, in this case the OP shouldn't have made this purchase in the first place as from the very start he had "other priority debts to clear first" and was unable to save for paying this purchase off at the end of the BNPL term.
