my laptop running windows 7 has stopped loading some locations and some others very slow however MSE loads no problem.
One I used to use a lot and has stopped is 'mercedes owners forum'
it just times out, I have also tried on my wife's I pad with no luck, my broadband is on plus net but looks to be ok.
Could it be my WIFI link.
It has been like this for a few days now and I think it was after some microsoft windows updates

no not on I pad, laptop or an android pad all wifi and all seem a little slow.0

Sounds like a wifi issue. Try connecting via an Ethernet cable to see if that works.0

There's the well-known website "Down for everyone, or just me?"
"It's just you. http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk is up. Check another site?"0 -
OP certain sites have become very very slow at loading in the past few days eg newspapers and other sites. MSE is fine. I have tried every which way to stop the `hanging` but nothing is working. I also have windows 7. I am using a samsung laptop. I have tried to buy goods online a couple of times and have given up0

ok , lets try:
1: run speed test from here http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html
report back with the speed shown
then
2: unplug the router , leave for a minute then plug back in and repeat the test.
I would prefer if this was done via an Ethernet cable thoSave a Rachael

Restart your router - occasionally there are DNS/routing probs, and this always cures my problem with what appears selected sites not responding.0

Thanks all, restarted router and now ok0
