Next Tuesday, fans will flock in their thousands to the Boleyn Ground for Hammers’ final game in the Upton Park stadium they have occupied since 1904.
And you could be there too, after West Ham United and Newham Council teamed up to offer two pairs of tickets for the sold-out finale against Manchester United.
To be in with a chance, just answer this simple question by 9am this Friday: “When did West Ham United move to the Boleyn Ground?”
Mayor of Newham, Sir Robin Wales said: “The Boleyn has seen some massive games throughout its history – but this match will be one of the most emotional and one no West Ham fan will want to miss.
“The game marks the end of one era but heralds the beginning of an exciting and hugely promising new one in the club’s history. I am delighted we are able to give two Newham residents and their guests the chance to be part of this memorable night.”
The free competition is open to all Newham residents who are able to collect the tickets next Tuesday from Newham Council’s Dockside offices. Head to newham.gov.uk/mayorsfreegiveaway to take part.
Full terms and conditions can be found on the the council website. Kick-off is at 7.45pm next Tuesday, May 10.
