South Wales Parking group PCN

Hi all,
I recently received a PCN for a company car(leased) 0n 22/2/16 ,however I have returned the car to my company and have not driven since the end of november 2015 due to health reasons & surrendered my driving licence back to the DVLA which they accepted on 6/2/16.I have explained these details in an informal challenge to SWPG. They now would like to have the following details- the date the DVLA confirmed my surrender & a letter from my company showing when they collected the car. Don't mind giving a copy of the DVLA'S letter-but they will find out who the lease car is leased and requested the driver details from my company. Am I under any obligation to provide SWPG of who I work for ,or should I let SWPG do the donkey work themselves and go back to the lease company for the info-or just drop the current driver in it?

Is this about a parking charge relating to parking on private land/property, or a council/police penalty charge?

I did check the website before posing the question, but wanted the OP to confirm precisely what the context for this is, before signposting them to the appropriate help forum.

Most people win who post on pepipoo forum about any type of parking ticket:

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showforum=30

You would be best posting on pepipoo there, with scans or photos of both sides of the PCN. DO NOT start a thread there without those pics.

Explain what you said to us but more clearly saying that this PCN is not 'your' liability because it took me a re-read to realise that you had said the lease car isn't your lease car any more. Explain to pepipoo whether you mean no-one in your family or someone known to you (with your consent) drove the car while you still had it, and got the PCN?

I would not rely on anyone else 'doing the donkey work' and having received a PCN you MUST appeal it in writing (not by phone) and not let someone else say they will 'sort it'. Relying on others to sort out a PCN has got other people into trouble with bailiffs in the end. You have to follow the stages of appeal until the Council confirm it is cancelled or not your liability, once you have proved so.

I would supply the details of who you work for but I am not sure how they got your name and address in the first place...surely SWPG gave the Council your details?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
