That's some expensive piece of disabled equipment.
I can only think of a car and a car can be purchased on Motability using the enhanced disability payments of PIP's or DLA to make the payments. I wouldn't think someone would want to save first...that would take years of saving...over 10 years....whilst also paying out half the money for minicabs to get from A to B.
The enhanced disability mobility component is £57.45/week. Spending half on getting around and saving half would take 10 years to save enough £14,937 to buy a vehicle outright with no finance.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

Does it work the same way with pensions?
If I stopped working on a pension that counted as a low income for council tax, and a months pension payment took me to just over £6000, would I have a month to spend the money and get back down below £6k?

just draw it out in cash as soon as it hits your account. You cannot deprive your self of income, only capital

But of course you'd have to declare any savings you had in cash, so there's not much point withdrawing it.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

just give it to a friend
then when u want some money ask them to "give" you some
