Well if you go in with your eyes open and can bring in a quote for them to beat then it's OK. Both companies have finance specialists that you have to talk to and they will try and flog you everything under the sun - gap insurance, paint protection, mechanical breakdown insurance, aa type cover, payment protection insurance etc etc etc.The man without a signature.0

I personally wouldn't, my hubby bought a car from here 18 months ago, it was back in with 2 weeks for its first problems and over the first 9 months of ownership it was with them more than my hubby! after some wrangling we finally got them to refund us for all costs incurred on fixing the vehicle- the worst one being when the transfer box went which cost £2000 to fix and had to go to a specialist garage. we now have had to claim on the PPI insurance and found that to be invalid despite us going through the T&Cs with a fine toothcomb pre-signing.Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the world together."

I would stay well away from them, they sell over priced average cars.0

Carcraft, no no no, shysters, all that is bad in the car sales industry is there.0

Don't trade a car in there because they don't give you what its worth..
Some cars are o.k they sell you just need to take someone with you who knows a bit about them0 -
Car Giants cars seem to be all ex hire cars or ex motability cars which on the whole are pretty grim if you want a half decent car. Because of this they are cheapish although you need to balance the condition with whether you can put up with the state of the cars. That said their Merc and VW section contained some nice well maintained cars. The man without a signature.0

From what I've seen in Carcraft Rochdale, the cars are all bins that are at least 2k overpriced. Not only that you get hassled by some guys that look like they work the doors in the evening trying to sell you very dodgy finance deals.
They also don't even know what cars they are selling. I had one salesman swear blind to me the Saab 9-3 I was looking at was in fact a 9-5 (cos that's what it said on his sheet), I had to point out the badge on the back! :rolleyes2:
It's a handy place if you're curious about what a car's like inside at 9pm but that's about it.2009 wins: Signed Saxon CD, Solar Torch, Drumsticks, Priest Feast Tix, Watch, Hammerfest tix :beer:0
