Ulster bank charges and packaged account fees

I was able to go online and get statements from May 2009 to current day. I'm going to highlight the charges and send them off - 70 pages worth!

What is the story with any charges that have already been refunded? Do I need to take that into account or is that up to the bank?

I also want to reclaim charges for my packaged account so would I need to do that in a separate claim? Is Resolver any good? I had a look at it and it didn't have ulster bank.

That is a waste of time and unnecessary. Banks know what they have charged you. They dont need you to send them statements.

Also, 7 years is way past the normal point of consideration for financial hardship apart from extreme hardship cases. Most banks, where you meet the hardship criteria, only consider the last 6-12 months worth. Are you currently under severe financial hardship?

    You ignore them.

You can add it to your complaint letter but it is a different complaint. One assumes, as you dont say and noting that you cant reclaim bank charges anymore, that you have two issues. Financial Hardship and a mis-sale.

Are you saying you can't claim charges back for anything?

The banks won the court case on "unfair" charges in 2009. It died a death after that. Only current financial hardship goodwill gestures and incorrect application of charges are the only area where it happens now.

Packaged accounts have a potential issue if they were mis-sold
