I have just discovered a way of clearing Cortana’s search history from my Hotmail account
Despite the fact that, I have never used Cortana and thought that I had disabled it !!
(I am assuming that MS must have linked my login Hotmail account to Cortana ?)
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/cortana-privacy-faq
Which directs you to http://www.bing.com/account/personalization
Which, worryingly had a huge amount of personal data on it –a full history of my searches on my home PC’s over the last 6 months +
I recommend that you set the sliders to OFF !!

Google have never denied that they reap peoples personal data for their own (unknown) uses and in any case - Google is simple to delete all data from a device...and blocking future collections - by NOT using a Google account
Whereas MS are using Cortana for other purposes than we are told (ie. When Disabled - it still collects search data)
MS are trying to make out that they are the GOOD GUYS - but in the background are collecting heaps of our personal data !!

What is it that it's being used for that we are not being told? They don't have a little man sitting at a desk just looking at your account....:rotfl:
    Ok....Don't use Google, Apple or Ms products....Don't own a phone.....Don't drive a car.....Don't use a bus pass....Ditch the store cards.....Only use cash..
    Good luck..;)

It amazes me that some people are paranoid about their PC but yet still carry a mobile phone which is much more invasive
