Renewal of Buildings Insurance

I'm due to renew my buildings and contents insurance and, due to a 68% (!!) increase in premium, I will not be staying with the same insurer.
When I took it out last year (for a new purchase) I had to have the interest of the mortgage lender added to the policy. Do I need to still do that with the renewal? I'm assuming yes but thought I'd ask anyway.

Do you still have a mortgage?0

If I didn't have a mortgage why would I be asking about my mortgage lender?

Most modern mortgages insist on you having buildings insurance but IMO not many insist on you having their interest noted.
Mine with a B/soc does not.0
