Due to a mistake on my part I paid my Capital One bill 1 day late (paid off balance abput £50). They have charged a late fee, but does anyone know if this will be reported as late on credit records etc?

Maybe. Depends on the timing and their reporting cycle.
Only way to be sure is to check your files in a month or so.0 -
If you're concerned about it then call them and see what you can negotiate - it's sometimes reported on here that some card companies are able and willing to reverse such charges and maybe even remove the marker, if it's your first 'offence' and you ask nicely enough and can convince them of a good enough reason for paying late.0
