I ordered a mattress from them over the bank holiday weekend, and it was a good deal, so I posted it on Hot UK Deals, and it got removed with the reason:
"Thank you for your post, I'm sorry but Unfortunately the website you recommended is not currently suitable for Hotukdeals. You're more than welcome to click the *CONTACT US link if you wish to discuss this further."
...so I did contact them to ask why, and I quickly received the reply: "Thanks for your message. The merchant is unsuitable as they're showing a company number which doesn't appear at CH, address is a Virtual Office and their customer service is an answering service. They are therefore not suitable."
Although, their company number is appearing in a search at CH (companies house) and they do answer the telephone (I just spoke to them), although it is a virtual address (as many companies are)... so a bit of a rubbish reason to remove it.
...However, I noticed on companies house, that they've only been trading since 05 April 2016 (that could be good grounds not to accept them for posted deals)...
feeling unsure about them only being 1 month old, I decided to give them a call to confirm that my mattress is being delivered today, and they kept me on hold while they spoke to the depot, then came back to apologise that the label had come off a mattress and they didn't know who it was going to, so they were able to re-label it now, and it will be delivered tomorrow. - what a pain (and raises my suspicion with them being a new company).
I just wondered if anyone had used them before?

I hope you put it on your credit card, just in case.
If it all goes horribly wrong you can always claim against the card.
I wouldn't worry yet though. Lots of these companies set up, sell too cheaply, go under, start again... As long as you get your mattress and you're happy with it for the price then all is well.0 -

Yeah, I suppose that makes sense...
And yeah, paid by credit card... also had a great cashback deal from TCB, 10% cashback, + a TCB verified discount code of 5%... wonder if that will track through...
I'm very eager to get my mattress though
Been looking at mattress for the last week, and putting off changing the bed sheets until it comes... I hope it comes tomorrow for that reason alone... I want clean bed sheets! 0 -
Just a quick update, it arrived safe and well today, so I would recommend them for a great price on a new mattress.0

Glad you got your mattress but not sure I'd order a mattress online unseen without a much stronger return policy. You can only return it unused and have to pay for the return postage. There are sites that offer 30 day money back guarantees on mattresses which actually gives you the chance to try a mattress risk free.0

The place I bought mine from is very clear about where they go (note that it is a requirement that you use a topper and protector for the mattress and it must still be returned unspoiled, unmarked and undamaged):
http://www.factory-beds-direct.co.uk/guarantee/All returns are utilised by friends, family, previous customers of bed and breakfast establishments and so forth. We are not short of willing recipients. We also have an outlet site (John Ryan Outlet) where we sell returned mattresses with discounts ranging from 10% to 50% dependent upon condition.
