Web cam and skype

Hi
Can anyone tell me if I need a specific type of web cam for use with Skype?
I've been looking at the Logitech models after reading good reviews but as I'm trying to buy online to get a better price, I want to be sure it's going to work and I'm not sure what I should really be looking for? In the shops, I noticed a few of the boxes had the skype logo on but buying online - doesn't give me the same indication.
I want to be able to set up a web cam and speak to people over msn/ skype.
Sorry if this is a silly question but I want to be sure that I don't need anything specific for the skype option.
Thanks in advance.

Personaly i never had a problem with any web cams on msn/skype/yahoo etc, other than the usual enabling ports on some peoples systems to get them to work.0

Thanks for the reply. That's good to know then maybe I don't need to worry about it too much. I just wanted to be sure.0

Sorry for hijacking the thread but I can't get my Traveler Dv5040 to work, is that possibly a port problem? I installed the driver supplied with it and whilst the laptop recognises that a new device is installed I can't get it to work with yahoo or msn... I am at my whits end.... any ideas? I think I posted elsewhere.. and apologise if I have.
