Late October Sun

hello, i'm after some late october sun. i have the opportunity to go to either Goa or the Dom Rep. Can anyone suggest which one would be more suitable. Soonest reply much appreciated. Thanks, mark.

More suitable for what? Do you want Caribbean or India. India is not like going on a jaunt to Spain - I've been three times and it's somewhere you can just decide to go to at the last minute.

I enjoyed my trips to India and would go again without hesitation, but don't treat it like 'a bit of winter sun'. It's a great Country with lovely people, but if you choose to sit by a hotel pool all day you will miss out on what it has to offer.

You need a Visa which should be applied for now if you want to go in October and it's another cost to factor in. You also need a few injections - if you haven't already had them it may be too late to get them all in before October. You also need to take malaria tablets a week before you go and then for a few weeks after you come back - more cost.
