My vehicle was stopped and parked legally at the side of the road. As a lorry stopped at the T Junction and turned right the rear end of the vehicle clipped my car. No physical witnesses and the lorry drove off. Luckily for me the CCTV from where I worked caught the incident and recorded it, unfortunately the VRN can not been seen on the image. Apparently the firm that owns the lorry runs in excess of 70 vehicles and is unable to pin point the culprit. Therefore the 3rd parties insurance company are unwilling to proceed any further with the claim. Any help or guidance appreciated. I have a copy of the CCTV footage although are unwilling to submit on this forum.

If the CCTV footage clearly shows the company, being unable to identify the driver is their problem. Their driver caused damage to your car, therefore they as the operator of the lorry are liable.
As per Stator's reply, letter before action - or get your own insurance company on the case.
If they still try and wriggle out of it, then see if the local paper would like a story - nothing companies like worse than bad publicity.0 -
How far from the junction for it to hit your vehicle whilst turning right?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0
