Why is it a problem to switch energy suppliers when one has dual/related MPANs (meters)? How can I overcome this problem?

    The only way to resolve it is to change to a single meter, either single rate or E7 multi rate.
  • Thanks for your reply but Scottish Power will not change my all electric supply to just one meter. My meters are for Comfort Plus Control and Comfort Plus Control: Heat Charge. Looks like I am super glued to Scottish Power!

    The CMA have proposed that all suppliers should be able to support any complex meter set up by taking a total of all metered consumption and billing it at one of their standard (single) rate tariffs.

    Give it 6-12 months and you should be able to swap.
