Multi Car Policy

Hi guys, I have acquired a new car as my wife is pregnant and I need to try and find an insurer that will consider my wife’s 10 or 11 years as a named driver on my policy with no accidents.
I should be able to find the documentation to prove she was a named driver for the majority of this period.
I also have 6 points on my license and 11 years NCB myself. However, due to the fac ti have points and she has no NCB, the insurance policies individually and as multi car policies range from 850-1200 and beyond.
The car my wife will be driving is a 2004 BMW 120D and the car I will be driving is a 2004 BMW 320D Touring if that makes any difference.
I usually change insurance providers ever year to keep the costs down otherwise I know if I had just been with someone like Direct Line, they would use her named driver period as NCB.
Any ideas on whether or not insurance companies will actually consider the length of time my wife has been driving without accidents? If so, who are the best companies to call?
thanks all!
