Hi im at a loss now ive tried every site I can think of and still its coming to around £3000 which is to much. we are wanting a beach holiday abroad with a lively resort as three of us are a young spritely 20yr olds and wish to go to the bars for a drink. We are also students so it has to be really cheap. The thing is we also have our mum and dad coming and they are happy to go on a shoe string but the accommodation would have to be big enough say three bedroomed for us all as there is two couples in the party hence two rooms and the other would be for a single 19yr woman s 16 boy and 12 year old girl, boy would have to go with mum and dad. Is there any where that would accommodate this scenario. Villas, large apartments...... in Spain or Portugal or any where hot and fun with lots going on. The cost would split into 7 but only four would pay as the 16 and 12 is paid for by mum and dad. Please did anyone go on such a holiday and can advise. We don't want to drive we just want to go to airport, get to where ever it is walk to the beach etc. etc.. like most people do. Our problem there is 7 of us ranging from 50 to 12. but all agree lively resort with beach and hot. Here's the crunch. we can only go on 15th for 10 days in august as one of us is a student nurse and has set holiday date she has to take. Can anyone help us. pleeeze

Paragraphs are important.
A holiday for 7 in August will not be cheap. You can either up your budget, or perhaps try another country - Bulgaria, Croatia et al. are all fairly budget friendly.
Have you spoken to a travel agent? Had a look on TravelRepublic or other sites where you can DIY a holiday?
Spain and Portugal in August (peak season) will not be cheap. But at less than £500 each for 10 days in peak season is a fairly reasonable price (depending on resort/hotel rating and board).0 -

This is unreadable-Hope you're not a student studying English
You are not living in the real world re what you want from a holiday with that budget and those restrictions.
You will have to compromise something(s).0 -

So you want high season for 10days for 7 of you for less than £3000.
At the very least lets look at the maths £3000 for 10 days is £300 per day then divide this by the amount of people, 7/300 which equals £42.85 per person per night and this is too much?
Good luck with your huntLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -

if you can be flexible with where you fly from in the UK, you could do it -
ie 15th August, 10 nights, Edinburgh to Faro, Portugal, is around £100 each return (you'd need to add bags to this though)
holidaylettings has 3 or 4-bed apartments and villas in the Algarve (ie Albefuiera, Praia De Rocha) for around £1000 total for your 10 days in August.
So that would be around £2000 for your flights and accommodation, then transfers from the airport (just had a quick look on hoppa.com and its around £80 return from Faro airport to Albefuiera by private minibus for up to 8 travellers).0 -
If the party naturally splits up into smaller apartments and studios then having more than one in the same complex could work.
Iloveholidays and onthebeach can be helpful with your search BUT Don't book with them. If you see flight and hotel with them, make a note and book with the airline direct and the apartment complex direct or if not available with someone such as travelrepublic.
Also try other departure dates and shorter holiday lengths.
Where are you in the UK?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
At peak period in August I would probably suggest scrapping the idea of a villa / large apartment as it will be much more expensive in most cases. (not always).
An apartment with all 7 of you in sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. Even if you get a 3 bed apartment you are still only likely to get one living area, one bathroom and one balcony and that would be quite a tight squeeze for the ages of your party. You will all end up getting on top of each other and nobody will be happy, especially those who are out sampling the nightlife!
I'd agree with the other posters and suggest looking at 3 apartments / rooms / studios instead.
You will also find that in most cases the 12 year old is now classed as an adult and not a child.
Turkey is probably your cheapest bet at the moment. Thomson have 10nts in Marmaris flying from Glasgow for less than £350pp. Marmaris, Bodrum, Hisaronu are your best choices if you want access to decent nightlife and beaches. It's also relatively cheap when you are there.
If you want less than £3k for 7 of you then you probably need to forget Spain, Portugal or Italy this year as they are extremely popular and a lot of hotels have sold out already for July / August.Lea
