Successful PPI claim

I have been trying for 4 years to claim PPI with the Co-op bank, I downloaded a template letter from MSE was told twice they couldn't find my loan as it dates back to 1997, yet they sent me the information of my opening a bank account in 1997 that I had to do to get the loan.

I re applied to be told the same thing, we rung twice to be told they couldn't find anything,

then while speaking to them one day we were told to apply to their Archive team.

one month later we have received a letter saying yes we were charged PPI and would we like to accept their offer. The original loan was for £2500, their offer is for the PPI we paid, plus interest from 1997 to May 2016, plus compensation of 8% minus 8% tax for the government :(
so we got a total of £1281 back :T:T:j:j

So really thrilled that I stuck to it, and would advise anyone not to give up if you know you paid PPI

there was also a leaflet in with the letter with MSE and Which mentioned :)
Thanks to all who post comps :)
