We had a new washing machine delivered yesterday and after the delivery men left we discovered there where quite a few rips in our Lino, we didn't notice while they were there as they were stood over the damage.
I called and spoke to customer services who told me to email with pictures which we did last night but so far have had no reply. The damage is right in the middle of the room, it wouldn't be so bad if it was around where the fridge is but its so noticeable and our house is currently up for sale so we need it fixing.
Has anyone had any experience of this I am just trying to find out if Curry's are reasonable or if I'm in for a long battle to have it replaced?

I had a washer dryer installed by guys from Know How aka Currys, they tried to wedge the side of the kitchen cupboard unit out a bit to get the washer in, but in doing so they applied to much pressure to the adjacent wall and cracked the plaster. Nothing horrendous but not ideal.
They SAID that they would report this back to the depot and that someone would contact me about it... Whilst they may have been genuine I wasnt prepared to take that risk - so as soon as they left I called Currys and explained the situation saying I wanted them to ensure that this was noted on their system.
They said to send pictures and get two quotes to repair it and I think they paid me the average of the two quotes if I remember correctly.
When I asked if anything had been reported back from the guys that caused the damage, they said no..0 -
ah at least they paid for the repair, Im just worried that they will refuse0

We bought a fridge freezer last year from appliances direct. The delivery drivers (Arrow XL)ripped our lino, they gave us a number to call to report it. After sending photos we were told to get a quote to repair it, it was in the middle of the floor so we got a quote from carpet right to fit new lino. They sent us a cheque for £361. Stand your ground.0

They have called today to say that someone will be in touch to investigate, I don't think I'll buy this type of Lino again it's so soft and we had already ripped it at the back of the washing machine. I wasn't too bothered about it there because you can't really see it but this is right in the middle of the floor0
