Hester people's ignorance on mental health conditions can be astounding. They sometimes don't have a clue until they live with it. Your daughter is very fortunate to have you supporting her and that wil be paramount in her living well with her condition.xx

My weekend and bank holiday was stressful. DD (17) burnt her hand cooking so we took a trip to the local hospital. She had to keep it in water for several hours but fortunately today, it's much improved, her hand is dressed and bandaged and she has to rest it. She has a test tomorrow and won't be able to write so has emailed her tutor. She is also worried about her AS exams which are in a couple of weeks.
Today we went for some groceries and I also looked in some Charity shops. I found a nice desk for 7.99 so have bought that. I will collect in my hatchback tomorrow.i also found a very nice casserole type pan which looked brand new, for 2.99. We also had coffee/hot chocolate in the local cafe. I seem to be going there too often so will have to watch the pennies with that indulgence.
It's bright but still chilly and by evening I am still putting the heating on. I did start housework earlier but that got interrupted when my elder daughter came around, so I will have to continue that after tea.
