Hi
Can anyone help me?
I have read all the information about reclaiming over draft charges and I know I can ask for the last 6 years accounts but can I go back further?
When I was a student I got into a massive rut of my account always being over my over draft limit and getting charged. The bank ended up coming to my house and confiscating my card! I always thought it was ridiculous the bank kept letting me get more and more overdrawn over my set overdraft limit. But I never thought about trying to claim it back I thought it was just PPI.
Is this too long ago to even worry about?
Before anyone says, I know it was stupid to keep getting cash back and going further and further over my limit but I was a student was desperate! but surely the bank should have stopped it happening too, instead they just kept Charging me until they took my card!
One problem is I don't have any paperwork though.
Thanks
Laura

Two words. No chance.0

The Banks won their court case about charges in 2009.
Even the six years you mention is not the case.
Only a goodwill payment of perhaps the last six months is possible and, even then, only granted to those in current financial hardship.0
