Returning VW lease car

HI Guys.
Question for my sister in law.
She's due to return a vw to vw finance on lease hire soon. The cars been serviced at year 1 and 2. If the car goes back a day or two before the car is 3 years old, does she need to get the 3rd year service, mot and brake fluid changed or not?
