Should I be concerned about this?

We have been in our 1950's house for a couple of years now and today I stripped the wallpaper and removed the coving from my daughters room to find this. We plan to add sockets, a new ceiling and to replaster but I got concerned when I seen this.

Should we be concerned or is it easily rectified when the plasterer does his stuff?

Just from that picture it's difficult to tell. I have a 1950 built house & when I took down some built in furniture I found a crack similar to that where an internal wall meets an external. I'd been in the house a few years by then & nothing has moved so I just filled it. That was probably 10 years ago & it's still fine.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Is one of the walls an internal wall? If so no worries, if they were both external I may be a little concerned but I'm sure the crack is years old and not moving any more. Just replaster and monitor it.

The left side is external, the right side is internal with a bedroom on the other side.

I guess as I continue to strip the walls of paper if I find loose plaster in any form just to break it off?

The usual advice is to check on the outside of the external wall and see if there is a corresponding crack, if yes, worry, if not no worries.
