Just managed to land the little plane.. its much easier. It didn't half bounce though!

A good landing is any one you walk away from.

Great fun, although the IT department's producivity has nose-dived faster than the F-16!
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life. :)

I've linked to someone's blog who gives you instructions on how to use the flight simulator and how to get it up and running. Looks great.

    Enjoy,

  • This is old news, its been reported/posted on here before. And it is not a freebie since it is builded into a free app from Google.

For anyone that does not want to click the link that the OP put and read all the page.

You have to download the lastest Google Earth from http://earth.google.com then click on your keyboard the following Ctrl + Win logo + A

umm if you tried reading the blog, i think you'll see it' s not spam...

Pity the controls are so unfriendly an unintuitive.

Would be better if they were the usual asdf controls common to first person shooter games.

Hey google filterers, fix these controls they are waaaaaaay too clunky.

p.s. why would they want to hide the game anyway, is there some conspiracy issue here?
:o Keep trying.........................what else is there to do? :o

Some people have said it's easier to use the mouse, I tried it briefly - it is a bit better but requires small movements. Using a joystick or control pad type control is far better - less crashes but still tricky to master.
