Leasing a car

My wife and I already have a car but we need another car as I have got a new job for September and I require a car. We already have one car which is paid off. We thought the best idea would be to get a car on a lease scheme.
My wife works for the NHS and there is a NHS fleet solutions which offers cars with insurance, servicing for a monthly fee. The only downfall being a 7000 miles limit.
I wondered whether anyone could suggest anything. I have looked into companies like VW etc but I think (maybe wrong) insurance is not included.
Many thanks in advance

How many miles do you and your wife drive a year? How many miles do you do on your current car per year?0
-
She did 7000 miles last year so to cover it say 8,0000

I think between you you should be able to keep the miles below 7,000, especially if you use your existing one at weekends etc. Even a 1000 miles extra isn't going to incur that much in excess mileage charges.0

so are you saying NHS scheme sounds the best0

That I don't know, sorry.0

To get the best deal then you should look for a deal, rather than a specific make/model of car. Google contract hire and there are loads of sites. One that gets mentioned here a lot is http://www.lingscars.com/ It's a bit off the wall but is genuine enough and are very good apparently.
Good luck.0 -
