Underfloor heating

I would like to install water based underfloor heating on my reception area. I believe this will need me removing the existing screed, and then screeding again once pipework is done. I have done something similar with my extension so familisat with the process. However, this time it is inside the original house, and one of my neighbour mentioned that house in our street has raft foundation, so may just have concrete not screed. and it maynot be possible to remove. Is there any easy way of understanding what type of foundations we have without digging etc?

Or
