£1700 seems to be the average.

I happened to deal directly with the sales manager so he had the authority to do the deal.
It all depends on how you approach them from the off.

I went in all polite, told them the spec, got the figures, then popped out the iPad and said if you can match that we can do the deal.

Hand shook five minutes later.

Spent a hour the day before trying to get 1k off an ex demo. No dice so left and ordered a new one for a 1k more.

Got to wait ten weeks now though.

I would go in and ask to deal with the sales manager, it saves all the twoing and throwing.

It's a shame we didn't qualify for the VW loyalty £500 discount as well.
