im going on monday im in a total mess cant sleep what i need to know can someone do the steps of what happens after seeing the judge then what u do my mum thinks everything will be sorted for me by the or reading these post no one says what happens next do they come round your house and start taking every thing your car. i know my house will have to be sold how long will i live there. the worst bit is i get paid monday do they close my bank account sraight away . also my car insurance is on dd everthing is or was . any one please help

Well , the court works like this :- You go to the office and file your papers , you wait to see the judge , he/she may ask a few questions . They tell you there and then if you are being granted your BR. You then go back to the office and you get to speak to the OR just as initial contact. You will be sent a pack from the OR and an appointment made to go through all your debts as listed on your BR application.

As Tigerfeet says , start your own thread and then any questions you ask will all be in one place .

Rest assured , you will not get anyone "coming round to grab stuff". This is why you work with the OR , if you do have to give up assets then this should be handled in a civilised manner . I will post on your thread about my OR interview to help put your mind at rest.
