Hello
Does anyone know of an insurance company that does not setup a continuous payment authority when you pay whole amount of the premium with a credit card?

M&S Insurance. Just renewed my car insurance with them and there's an option to have continuous renewal or not. I think by default they'll put it on, but you can ask them not to, then it stays off for subsequent renewals.

Does it really matter? They will inform you of the amount of the renewal and you simply choose at that point whether to accept it or not. Only going with providers who allow you to opt out of CPA will severely restrict your choice and quite probably cost you more than if you can select from the whole market.

Isn't your problem solved by simply cancelling auto renewal a few days after taking out the cover, if you think it will be an issue in a year's time?

You'd be better off searching the whole of market and getting a diary.

I can name several, my insurer is one but whats the point if the price is a lot more than a quote from an insurer that uses CPA?
